He had a successful professional career starting at Inlaks Computers, Industrial Bank Limited (Merchant Bankers) as a programmer/analyst, and Ventura Savings and Loans Limited. He is a former board member of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and of the Presidential Initiative for developing the software industry in Nigeria. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, he is an icon in software development in Nigeria, spanning over 30 years of experience across the IT and financial sector. He holds a B.Sc degree in Computer Science (with Economics) from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and a MBA. He also attended Wits Business School, Johannesburg South Africa, prestigious Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA where he completed the owner President Management Programme and Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Swiss Business School, Zurich, Switzerland.
Co-founder and CEO of Onefi
He was previously an investment analyst at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) responsible for sourcing investment opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to IFC, he worked with Zephyr Management LP in the US and South Africa as an investment associate sourcing private equity opportunities in Africa and working closely with Zephyr's portfolio companies. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, an MSc in Risk Management from the University of Reading and BA Economics from University of East Anglia.
Founder/MD, LAPO Micro Finance
As a university graduate from one of Nigeria’s minority tribes, Dr Ehigiamusoe was part of a rural cooperative movement before setting up LAPO in Ogwashi–Uku, Delta State. Under his leadership, LAPO was awarded the Pro-Poor Award for Innovation in Microfinance by the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), and the Excellence in Microfinance Award by the Grameen Foundation. Dr Ehigiamusoe is the author of Understanding NGOs (1998); Poverty and Microfinance in Nigeria (2000) and Issues in Microfinance: Enhancing Financial Inclusion (2011).

He is a leading IT business and marketing strategist with extensive experience leading major national IT and e-payment initiatives. Leading a team of local and foreign organisations and consultants, he pioneered project delivery director of the very successful World Bank-assisted Federal Government Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) in November 2006 and went live in six months. Although he has become a well-respected name in the IT industry, he didn’t study IT in the university. A graduate of Physics, by sheer inquisitiveness, probing and persistence, he has cut a niche for himself not only in SystemSpecs but also in the Nigerian IT terrain. Very much at home and current on IT trends and issues, he is a strategic player in the SystemSpecs team. With a first degree from the University of Ibadan, an MBA from the Pan-Atlantic University, he is a year 2000 alumnus of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) of the Lagos Business School and a participant in Stanford University’s SEED Programme.

He is an experienced development manager with a passion for empowering the poor. He is a social entrepreneur, children and women’s rights advocate and a strong believer in balancing social, economic and cultural factors in development. He holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the prestigious Gregorian University, Rome and professional certifications from Harvard University, The Boulder Institute, and the Centre for Development Management, Rajendrapur. He served the United Nations System for over 18 years at various professional levels in Nigeria and abroad. He founded Grooming Centre in 2006 and is dedicated to the empowerment of the poor through sustainable financial intermediation. Grooming Centre is presently active in 23 states and the FCT and has empowered over four million women with microcredit, employing some 3,000 youths.

He has demonstrated multi-disciplinary experience in all classes of insurance, risk management and loss adjusting. He is a resourceful management executive with more than 30 years’ experience in risk management, insurance broking, consultancy and training within the insurance industry, academics and research.
He was a lecturer at the University of Lagos and head of various departments within the broking firm of Insurance Brokers of Nigeria (IBN). He has studied insurance from the University of Lagos and M.Sc. (Business) from University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institutes both in Nigeria and UK.
MD/CEO, EdFin Micro Finance Bank
She is the immediate past and the pioneer MD/CEO of ACCION Microfinance Bank. She led the commencement of operations of the bank in May 2007, starting with one branch and 18 staff and grew the bank to become a national Microfinance Bank with over 259,313 customer accounts and 37,800 active borrowers serviced in over 62 branches in 6 states in Nigeria and over 1,000 total staff members as at December 2017 when she completed her tenor in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria [CBN]’s regulations. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. She is a member of several prestigious institutions including the Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Bankers of Nigeria, Credit Administration of Nigeria, Credit & Collections Management of Nigeria etc.
Managing Director, Nigeria for Mines
Mines is a machine learning-powered digital credit platform. Before her present role, she was the Director of Digital Business at 9mobile where she partnered with startups to deliver mobile content, advertising, financial and API services. She has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a stint at Deloitte Consulting. She works on developing mobile content, technology and financial services products through partnerships and hopes to find a time-travel app so she can go back in time to watch Michael Jackson in concert.
